MY STory

Est. 2019. Family-owned barbershop
in the heart of downtown.

It all started about four and a half years ago—when I looked in the mirror and thought, “Yeah, I can totally do this.” Spoiler alert: I could not.

I grabbed a pair of clippers and went to work on myself. And let me tell you—there were lines that weren’t supposed to be there, bald patches that had no business existing, and at least one moment where I seriously considered wearing a hat for the rest of my life. But I kept going. Messed up again. And again. And again. My mirror definitely saw some things it can’t unsee.

But I didn’t quit.

Fast forward to 2022, when my two best friends, Aidan and Kobi, looked at me with either pure trust or absolute insanity—and let me practice on them. Shoutout to them for surviving those early cuts. They sat in my chair, held their breath, and let me work. And man, did that change everything. Their patience (and strong scalps) helped me grow immensely. I went from “what did you do to your head?” to “wait, actually that’s fire.”

Since then, I’ve been able to grow my craft, my confidence, and my chair.

Aiblendz isn’t just a brand—it’s a testimony. I run this company on Christian values, and I thank God every single day for the growth, the grace, and the good hair days. None of this happens without Him, and I never forget that.

And to every young kid out there thinking about picking up some clippers—do it. Grab ’em. Watch some YouTube videos. Mess up your own hair first (trust me, it builds character). Practice on your friends—if they’re real ones, they’ll let you. And one day, you’ll look back at your first cut, laugh real hard, and realize how far you’ve come.

Because if I can go from giving myself a accidental buzzcut to running my own brand—you can too.
